This 1925 theatre lobby was refurbished, remaining sensitive to the historical context, and new public restrooms and concessions were provided along with new mechanical and electrical systems. Back of house renovations included updating dressing rooms, wardrobe space, storage and a Greenroom. A fully-functioning Senior Living community directly surrounded the theatre space on the upper floors requiring complex construction phasing and sensitivity to egress alterations. All spaceplanning, systems upgrades, and cosmetic changes were presented to stakeholders for approval, including the Historic Review Board.
